Product privacy and access controls

PromptLens 0.4.0 is available as a stable release for production deployment, subject to the supported configuration and services.

The product is designed for self-hosted deployment, with risk detection separated from permission to access content. Monitoring is intended to be transparent, authorized and subject to organizational policy.

• Organization-owned devices and accounts, subject to policy and employee notice.
• The product specification excludes keystroke capture and screen recording.
• Least-privilege access, a documented reason for viewing content and access logging.
• The product specification includes encryption of content and files at rest and in transit.

System components and license verification operate locally. Using an external AI service still requires communication with that service; approved data may be sent according to policy.
